I had been experiencing with failures in syntax highlighter in Fletro Pro Blogger Theme until recently. I needed codes for teaching, tutorials, etc. However, the syntax highlighter was not showing any code that I kept in the place of the widget provided by the Jago Desain – the producers of the Fletro Pro theme. Nor the Fletro Pro Documentation contain any guide.
I worked a little more on the tweakings and came with a working idea. Yippee ! I hereby encourage other bloggers using Fletro Pro to try the method briefed below.
Fixing Syntax Highlighter Widget Problem in Fletro Pro Blogger Theme
- Get the Syntax Highlighter Widget Code from Documentation of Fletro Pro where you are going to insert your code.
- Paste it into your page/post where you are going to use it.
- Make some space for your desired code/syntax.
- Get your code/syntax, but do not paste in HTML editor of Blogger page/post.
- Instead, paste in notepad++ or notepad where you have facility of replacing certain character or word with something else.
- Press Ctrl+F in your notepad++.
- Under the ‘Find‘ tab, put in ‘<‘sign in ‘Find what:’ section.
- Under the ‘Replace‘ tab, put in ‘<‘.
- Click ‘Replace all‘ button.
- Similarly, again press Ctrl+F while the same document is open in notepad++.
- Under the ‘Find‘ tab, put in ‘>’ sign in ‘Find what:’ section.
- Under the ‘Replace‘ tab, put in ‘>‘.
- Click ‘Replace all‘ button.
- Save the file as another file/text document.
- Copy the entire code/systax from the newly changed text document/file.
- Paste the code in the empty area (which you created earlier) of the syntax highlighter widget code in your Blogger page/post.
- Save the post/page, and view the output.
- Yay, it’s done !
